Alstom to supply a new generation of metros to Greater Lyon 26/10/2016

Alstom is to design and supply the new generation of metros for the territory of Greater Lyon. The binding part of the order includes the delivery of 30 metros for an amount of 140 million euros. This first order may be extended through an exercise of options for up to 18 metros. The first four metros will enter service throughout 2019 on line B of the Lyon metro network.  Read more →

STIF launches Northern Grand Paris 05/10/2016



The STIF council has kicked off the creation of the first sections of Ile-de-France Metro Line 16 and 17 and the extension of line 14 in Saint-Denis Pleyel. After having created line 15 between Noisy-Champs and Issy RER (Southern Paris) which works have just started, the second stage of Grand Paris Express project is going to be implemented. Thanks to this project the entire North East quarter of the Region will benefit from new metro lines by 2023. Read more →
