Automated metro lines are a proven solution formetro systems around the world. As of July 2016, there are 55 fully automated metro lines in 37 cities around the world, operating in total 803 km, a 14,2% increase in km over 2014 figures. The projection is that by 2025 there will be 2,300 km of automated metro lines in operation.
